78. Open Up To Allowing And Receiving
As high achievers, we often find ourselves caught in a cycle of endless giving without creating space to receive. This imbalance leads to burnout and emptiness that no external validation can fill.
Think about your relationship with receiving. Do you deflect compliments? Feel uncomfortable discussing abundance? Experience guilt when accepting help? These are signs your receiving portal may be blocked.

Speaker 1:I am really embedding in this new adventure and this journey with Abraham and, as it is revealing itself, I will be sharing it more and more in the podcast. So, just to make it super clear, I activate using my voice. So I activate the change and action within people and that's what I term channeling with Abraham. So I am just guided to flow and I was saying to my mentor I talk about it as a teleprompter in my head, all of the words are seen and I flow. That's the way that I launch, that's the way that I speak, that's the way that I activate people within the podcast. What I've been able to access now, because I've expanded myself to receive this information is what I'm calling Abraham Speaks, which is where Abraham actually channels through me and my voice changes and it's a divine. I have no control. I don't know what I'm saying. It's a very much a download from Abraham, and I want to take you today on a bit of a journey about where my head's been at as I navigate this, but also why it is so potent and why I am absolutely bearing all in a quite a vulnerable place from being such a scientist, such a high performer, such about do these things in this way and it's going to get you great results. Why I have all of that capacity and high performance and can help people in many ways in that space, and how I've been able to open up, to receive this extra, as Abraham would say, delight and surprise, to be able to bring it to the world and maybe able to embody it in a sense of joy, zest and real um yeah, zest is the best way.
Speaker 1:So this is the piece that I want to focus on today. So today is all about allowing and receiving. There is so much in this world that we allow to happen to us. We allow ourselves to give our power and our energy away. We allow ourselves to get drained by others' energy. We allow ourselves to follow a path that doesn't feel right. We allow ourselves to get into spaces that just don't suit us. And this is really interesting because, in terms of high performance and energetics, this allowing is really really key.
Speaker 1:So many people allow themselves to give, they allow themselves to serve, they allow themselves to do that absolutely ahead of what they're allowing for themselves. It's like if everybody else is okay, then I'm okay. If I could serve all these people, then I'll feel fulfilled. And this is the allowing piece. You're allowing yourself to serve lots of people, but the absolute compliment partner to allowing and serving is about allowing yourself to receive, receive compliments. I know some people listening some compliments. They'll be like oh no, that makes me feel safe.
Speaker 1:Let's quickly move on something else. Um, money some people won't talk about money, they're not even going to go there. Um, more clients? Oh no, I couldn't possibly hold so many, I'd be working too much and it wouldn't be right. And they block the receiving of all of their desires.
Speaker 1:And when I start switching it to allowing, you know what? Just allow yourself to be open to all these things. Just allow yourself to receive all these things and just be open to really enjoying all of these things and when you think about what you're giving and what you're receiving, you want this to be a really equal exchange, like an infinity loop, an infinity loop of a give, receive, give, receive, and everything feels quite harmonious. Just tune into yourself now and see if you feel like that particular dynamic feels like you've got it nailed, like give and receive, whether it's love. Do you give a load of love to everyone else? Do you receive it from others and to and for yourself? Do you give a lot of time and energy to others and then do you give and do you receive that and give it to yourself? I know there are people listening that this is not balanced or equal. And if you are somebody with a huge amount of energy and a huge amount of love and real lead from the heart, like I know a lot of my listeners are, then this receiving bit is quite often super skewed and the giving bit is really high. So it's like, over delivering, over giving, everybody else takes precedent over yourself.
Speaker 1:This episode is about allowing and enabling yourself to really stay in that space of do you know what I can receive? All of the goodness I can receive all of the possibilities of endless success and happiness and joy, and I can give as well. This will allow you to open up this sequence of events where you get more and more and more of the opportunities to receive great, great things and manifest fabulous things in your life and also more and more opportunities to stand in that space of service. So more stages to stand on, more people to connect with, more people that come into your world, more opportunities to do different things that are out of your comfort zone, more opportunities for fun and joy and laughter and travel and whatever floats your boat. Allowing yourself to understand this is really, really key. So I want to talk about what happened today and why it prompted today's episode with you all.
Speaker 1:So today I ran a free masterclass. I ran a free masterclass called Press Play. It was all about my new program called Align. You can find links to Align in the show notes. Align is where you take yourself through a phase of healing, a phase of recalibration and a phase of flow, and you absolutely understand and grow and tune into your own personal energetic frequency for success, love, joy, happiness, harmony, well-being, and all of that sprinkled with an energy of zest. So you feel like you're totally alive and you are ready to live life to the fullest.
Speaker 1:And what happened in my masterclass this morning was I was going through the camera presentation like I normally would in this space, and everything was feeling really electric. I was feeling good. I feel like I was really getting my message across and letting people see where they may see themselves in stories of high performance and working hard and in that mindset, struggle. And then I've got to work hard to earn it and be in that space of you know what? Nothing can really be that easy. I'm not going to earn it and be in that space of do you know what? Nothing can really be that easy I'm not going to be able to be in that space and opening up their perceptions of themselves and what's possible.
Speaker 1:And in my masterclasses I always do an activation, an activation of expansion, an activation of ease. Today was the first time that I had the whole activation with Abraham, channeling with Abraham and also with Abraham Speaks, and it was exciting, it was full, it was joyful and the response that I've had has been really fascinating for me, really truly fascinating, and I have loved and appreciate every single person that's responded back what I've realised in my space and in my world and in my corner of the internet and my corner of the world in your ears, is this ability to activate, change, this ability for people to receive information in a way that feels absolutely spot on for themselves, be able to receive and say in a way, it's not right for them, be able to know that, and be able to receive and go. Do you know what? I don't know what's gone on, but you absolutely blow my mind. And what opened up for me today and I want you to really think about this for yourself is this receiving portal.
Speaker 1:One of my great friends offered me a gift today, said I want to take you to this place, I want to hang out with you, I want to have some fun. I'd love you to come, I want you to gift you a space. And maybe a year ago I would have gone. Oh no, no, it's fine, I'll um, I'll see you another time. Um, or whatever. I would have come up with something. Um, not because I didn't want to go, but because I didn't feel comfortable with that receiving of that gift Today. I was like hell, yes, I'm in, let's go for it. How exciting, I cannot wait. And what I noticed in myself and within the energy and this is definitely part of the Abraham Speaks channel version for people is around understanding that actually, when you receive and be open to receive, the unknown, magical opportunities come in, like today, a brilliant gift, hanging out with one of my best friends.
